Related Parties
The Related Parties section maps out the company's network of connected entities — directors, shareholders, subsidiaries, holding companies, and more. Each connection is assessed for risk to help you spot potential concerns early.
What you'll see
The section displays a table with the following columns:
- Related Party Name — The name of the connected person or company, with an expand arrow to reveal second-degree connections
- Relation — The type of relationship (e.g., is a Director, is a Designated Partner, is a Former Director)
- Relation To — The connected entity (company name with a link to its profile)
- Risk — A severity rating: NA, Low, Medium, High, or Severe
- Alerts — Number of flagged alerts for this party (e.g., "3 Alerts", "4 Alerts")
Relationship groups
Related parties are organized into these groups, each showing a count of entries:
- Directors — Current directors and designated partners
- Former Directors — Previously appointed directors
- Holding Companies — Parent companies with a controlling stake
- Subsidiaries — Companies owned or controlled by this company
- Shareholders more than 5% — Individuals or entities holding over 5% of shares
- Associates — Companies with a significant but non-controlling stake
- Joint Ventures — Companies jointly owned with other entities
- Sister Concerns — Companies under the same parent/promoter group
Expanding connections
Click the expand arrow next to any person's name to reveal their second-degree connections — other companies where they serve as director, partner, or former director. This helps you understand the broader network and identify potential conflicts of interest.
Click Expand All at the top of the table to open all entries at once.
Pay attention to related parties with High or Severe risk severity — these may need further due diligence before proceeding with a deal. Click on the alert count to see the specific risk details.
