GST Connect

Last updated: April 28, 20263 min read

GST Connect allows you to pull GST revenue and expense data directly from the government portal into AICA. Since this data belongs to the borrower, it requires their consent — the company must first enable API access on their GST portal before AICA can fetch the data.

Enable API access on the GST portal

Before AICA can pull GST data, the borrower (or their authorised representative) needs to enable API access from their GST portal account. This is a one-time setup that grants third-party platforms like AICA permission to read GST filing data.

Watch the video below for a step-by-step walkthrough of how to enable API access on the GST portal:

Tip:

Share this video directly with the borrower if they need guidance on enabling API access. Once enabled, AICA can automatically fetch their GST revenue and expense data.

Fetch GST data from AICA

Once API access has been enabled on the GST portal, the borrower can log in to their AICA account and provide their GST username to fetch the data.

1

Navigate to the Data Upload tab

Log in to the AICA portal and click the Data Upload tab in the top navigation. Under the GST Report section, the system automatically lists all GST numbers associated with the company. Click the Fetch button next to the GST number you'd like to pull data for.

Enter GST username and provide consent

A GST Fetch pop-up will appear showing the selected GST number. Enter the GST User Name associated with this GST account, check the I agree to provide consent to fetch my GST report checkbox, and click Proceed. If prompted, enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number to complete the verification.

Enter the GST username, provide consent, and click Proceed to fetch the data

Once the verification is complete, AICA will fetch the GST revenue and expense data directly from the portal. This data will then be available in the company's AICA Report for analysis.

Tip:

AICA requests one-time read access to the GST files. The borrower's GST credentials are not stored — only the fetched data is retained for reporting purposes.
