Track pending data requests

Last updated: April 5, 20263 min read

The Data Pending feature tracks all outstanding data, documents, and clarifications needed from borrowers. It gives you a clear view of what's missing and what's been fulfilled.

Open Data Pending

The Data Pending table with all outstanding requests and the action bar at the bottom

On any company profile page, click the red Data Pending button in the top-right area (next to the AICA Report, Dataroom, and other tabs). A drawer opens showing all pending requirements for that company.

What you'll see

The Data Pending drawer displays a table of all outstanding requests:

ColumnWhat it shows
Pending data & clarificationsThe primary request — what data or document is needed, with optional secondary details and links (e.g., GST connect links, balance sheet requirements)
RequestedWhether an email notification was sent for this item
RemarksEditable notes field — click to add comments with a timestamp
Data TypeThe category of data needed (e.g., Provisional Financials, Audited Financials, GST Connect, Bank Statement, Bureau Consent)
SourcesWhere the data should come from (e.g., Base Data, Additional Data)
StatusClick Mark Complete to mark a request as fulfilled

Active and Archived tabs

  • Active — Current pending requirements that still need attention
  • Archived — Completed or archived items, kept for reference

Filter pending items

Use the column filters to narrow the list:

  • Data Type — Show only specific document categories
  • Requested By — Filter by who made the request

User List

Click the User List button to see all company and partner users associated with this lead. From here you can:

  • View the full list of users with access
  • Invite new users — Add company or partner team members who need to submit data
Tip:

Use the User List to check who has access before sending data requests. If the right person isn't listed, invite them directly from this view.

Mark items as complete

When the requested data is received, update the status to Complete. The item remains in the Active tab until you archive it.

Archive items

Click the three-dot menu (...) on any item and select Archive to move it to the Archived tab. You can also select multiple items and archive them in bulk using the selection footer.

Note:

Data Pending works alongside Magic Upload — when borrowers upload the requested documents, you can match the uploads to pending requirements and mark them complete.
