Last updated: April 5, 20262 min read
AICA includes a built-in document viewer that lets you preview files directly in the browser without downloading them first.
Preview a file
Click on any file name in the Dataroom to open the inline document viewer. A side panel slides in from the right, showing the file content.
Supported preview formats
| Format | How it's displayed |
|---|---|
| Full PDF viewer with page navigation and zoom controls | |
| Excel (.xlsx, .xls) | Spreadsheet viewer with cell navigation and multi-sheet tabs |
| CSV | Table view with formatted rows and columns |
| Images (.jpg, .png, .gif, .webp, .svg) | Inline image display |
Note:
Files that can't be previewed (e.g., ZIP archives, Word documents) will be downloaded automatically when you click on them.
Spreadsheet viewer features
The built-in spreadsheet viewer supports:
- Multi-sheet navigation — Switch between sheets using tabs at the bottom
- Keyboard navigation — Use arrow keys and Tab to move between cells
- Cell selection — Click and drag to select a range of cells
Download files
You can download files in several ways:
- Single file — Click the three-dot menu (...) on any file and select Download, or click the download button in the preview panel header
- Multiple files — Select files using checkboxes, then click Download in the bulk action bar. Files are packaged as a ZIP archive preserving the folder structure.
- New files only — Click the Download New button at the top of the Dataroom to download only recently added files
Tip:
Use the inline preview to quickly review a document before deciding to download it — especially useful for verifying that the right financial statement or bank statement was uploaded.
